I’m currently working as a Senior Sourcing and Supply Chain Executive at Silueta (Pvt) Ltd., which is one of the leading manufacturing plants under MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka which is the largest apparel manufacturer in South Asia. I have been professionally involved in the field of procurement and supply chain management for over five years managing multiple international customers, suppliers with complex supply chains across different nations. I'm also a graduate in BSc. in International Transportation Management and Logistics at Dalian Maritime University, China with a Second-Class Upper award, and I'm currently reading (online) for an MSc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Birmingham City University, UK.
In addition to managing multifaceted processes over tight time schedules, I have also led teams in numerous cost savings projects in the companies I have worked with. My recent achievement as a Project Lead (at Silueta Pvt Ltd.) was leading 5 teams of Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Inventory and Warehouse management to save USD 300,000 from 13 main projects driven across 6 months’ time period. Overall, I have end to end experience and knowledge in all four areas of procurement (Production, Non-Inventory and CAPEX, Product and commercial), supply chain, planning, import, export, clearance, category management, overseas supplier handling, inventory controlling, supplier and customer relationship management and global sourcing.

Procure Raw Material (fabric and trim categories) in the right quantity,
color and article in order to ensure availability in accordance with the
plan by progress follow up in respect to styles and replenish shortages,
over usages.
2. Provide accurate, timely, complete documentation to cross functional
departments regarding the purchase order number, Shipping details (i.e
correct quantity for shipping, providing correct information to buyer,
ensuring the shipment meets cargo cut off times), Packing Lists (Check
the accuracy of the information, usage of correct material), priority
clearance list.
3. Continuous follow up on deliveries and payments to suppliers and
customers. (Handled over 40 International and Local Suppliers and 4

4. Maintain customer related raw material progress chart update through
service excellence about providing quality information of proper stock
holding levels, in a timely and accurate manner to team and the
customer as and when requested.
5. Participate in the supplier evaluation process, provide relevant
information, data to identify evaluate supplier on performance.
6. Follow up new supplier development calendar to ensure achieving of
target dates.
